DeafSEND is committed to making this website accessible and usable for as many people as possible.
Our approach
We aim to provide clear navigation, readable content, appropriate colour contrast, responsive layouts and content that can be accessed across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
We also aim to consider the communication and accessibility needs of deaf people and people with SEND when developing website content and resources.
Using this website
You should be able to:
- zoom text without loss of essential content;
- navigate the website using a keyboard;
- use the website on common mobile and desktop devices;
- identify links and headings clearly; and
- access core information without relying on colour alone.
Known limitations
Some third-party plugins or embedded functionality may not fully meet the same accessibility standards as the main DeafSEND website.
